Started Banking Career in the year 1973 as a BRC recruit. Worked in different Bank’s including Grindlays Bank (now SCB), BCCI (Overseas), Dhaka Bank, in Bangladesh as Senior Executive, Worked in Union Bank (Zambia) as CFO, SIBL as Deputy Managing Director, Jamuna Bank, PLACID International SDN BHD, BRAC BANK (Afghanistan) and Afghanistan Commercial Bank as CEO and Managing Director. Retired from Banking and returned to the country during 2015. Currently working as Adviser - IT Consultants PLC. Education: Graduated from University of Dhaka in a Science discipline, M A with Macro Economics major from D U and MBA from Trinity University, Delaware, USA- with Banking and Finance as Major subjects.
